What is the Ladbrokes Players Cup?

It’s a 5-a-side football tournament brought to you by Ladbrokes together with Powerleague, that’s free to enter to anyone over the age of 25. All you need to do is register an account and either create a new squad as a captain or join an existing one with your squad code.

There are some top prizes on offer, so get your squad together and join in.

Squads need a minimum of 5 players to take part, but you can have up to 7 in your squad.

How does it work?

There are 6 qualifying tournaments across the UK (locations and dates below). days of qualifying rounds held at 6 x Powerleague venues over 6 weekends. Your squad needs to be confirmed for 1 of them.

All locations will have tournaments for both Men and Women. Squads need to be single sex.

Great, how do I get involved?

First thing you need to do is register a new account, everyone needs to do this. You can only have one account per person, and you can’t play in more than one squad – it’s only fair.

To register an account go to the homepage here and click ‘Sign Up’. Then follow the onscreen instructions to register and verify a new account.

You can then either create a new squad as a Captain and invite your squadmates to join it or join an existing squad.

A squad needs a minimum of 5 players to take part, but you can have up to 7 players in your squad – a couple of subs is a good idea!

Once you have at least 5 players in your squad you can select an available location and confirm your spot.

What do I need to register an account and why?

-    Full name as it appears on your passport, drivers license or National ID

We need your personal details to create and maintain your account and to verify your identity and age with a third party electronic provider. More details can be found in our terms and conditions

What happens if a minimum of 5 players don't join my squad?

Your squad needs a minimum of 5 players to take part but you can have up to a maximum of 7 in your squad. Once a squad is created you’ll need to get 5 squadmates on board before you can confirm your spot at your preferred tournament location. We’ll send you reminders along the way so you don’t forget but failing to assemble the 5 then jeopardises the chance of making your matchday booking.

My squad is sorted and we have 5 or more players confirmed, now what?

You’ll need to select the tournament location from the available list and then the countdown to kick off begins… your squad dashboard will show how long you’ve got left and we’ll send you reminders a week before the big game and 48 hours before too. We’ll also give you an arrival time for the day too, to speed up the check in process, so make sure you take note.

There is a checklist of things you’ll need to bring with you, this is super important to make sure you can play on the day:
